I know I'd be losing money but I only have about 7 years left of work in me, home will need repairs in that time and I have no other sources of funds.My pension will never be able to pay everything off. I was thinking of offering the bank deed in lieu to get out from both mortages, high taxes, and high energy costs. I would then be able to pay off other debts. If they accept deed in lieu and couldn't sell the property can they still come after me for a deficiency judgement?
