Vivian ... If you buy a note in the junior position ...you buy it subject to the senior lienor. The senior lienor is under no obligation to give out financial information to third parties ... in fact it is probably illegal for them to do so. However, after you purchase the note and have become a lienor yourself ... the senior will usually co-operate.
