Hi, I sold a my home a while ago. It was in foreclosure. The sheriff sale price was a about 100 grand less than what I owed on the mortgage. I ended up selling the house for more than the sheriff sale price and made money. Now, I'm not sure if the mortgage company can send me a 1099 for the difference or if they will put a judgement against me. I'm really not sure and would also like some advice. Thanks
