NJD is correct. Most counties have their own foreclosure assistance programs and the State has an excellent network of mortgage foreclosure help.
Start with your county. If nothing else they can assist in referring you to the right people.
Ultimately you should be given a basic break down of charges. But how specific...I don't know. I don't know if they have to explain them much beyond what they have.
Let me ask this, is a local law firm handling this or is it one of the "majors" in the Twin Cities?
