By "painting answers with a broad brush" I mean sloppy answers hastily based on too little information provided with little regard to the question itself.
We all paint with a briad brush from time to time, but we always try to get the facts straight.
My bottom line is to make every effort to provide accurate and realistic information to homeowners who visit this site needing answers to questions, and offer constructive criticism to those whose answers sometimes fall short of accuracy and, in my opinion, capable of doing more harm than good.
If one reader walks away from this site laboring under an incomplete or false statement offered as fact...(people will only infer what they want to infer) that's one person too many.
