Foreclosure Questions

I have some general questions regarding foreclosure. I am 62Yrs old with a wife. I am on disability and I have tried to keep up the mortgage but have lost the battle. I have just been served a foreclosure notice from the lender. Do I file bankruptsy? Do I still continue to try paying the mortgage, or should I just stop? Common sense tells me to just stop but I am not an expert. Will that bring me further legal problems? As I see it I will move put things in storage and amass some money for a home. I want to move from here anyway. I have a trailer to reside in while amassing some money. I am very down because I don't know what to do. Anyone got any ideas? Terry
