Leased home in foreclosure what should I do?
Posted by charlotte on September 21, 2008 at 11:51:12: I found out a few days ago that the home that I am lease-purchasing from a builder is in foreclosure. This is a real mess. All the homes that he built in the area are foreclosing and some have tenants like I am. I have not received a notice from the bank as my contract states that if the builder falls behind that I be given the opportunity to make those payments. Also he has not paid the property taxes as my contract states. 2 of the homes in the neighborhood were empty so the bank took over the other 2 mine included have tenants. Any suggestions. Oh yeah, he has been taking my money every month
