Florida is a Judicial foreclosure state. That means that the foreclosure proceedings can take up tp 5 months to get through the court system. At the end of the Judicial Foreclosure action ... you still have to be evicted. I don't know if Florida requires you to be served with a 3-day or 30-day notice to vacate! If you don't move out ... the eviction can take 30-90 days in court. Also, it sounded like you aren't in foreclosure yet ... Lenders will typically wait at least two months(60-days) of missed mortgage payments before starting the Judicial Foreclosure!
