If you are assisting in paying for the mortgage then you do have a right to know where you stand with your home! Truth is that even if you do not work or contribute monitarily to the mortgage payment you still have a right to know what is going on because you are married!
Not to pry but is your marraige stable? I would demand information on what your financial standing is!
If the home is being foreclosed on no one has the right to come into your home regardless of the reason unless it has been allowed or approved by you or your husband. Once the foreclosure has been completed and the sale completed and filed then you will get notice from the sheriff as to how and when you must leave.
It may be that your husband is trying to arrange a short sale of the property.....
