UPDATE: Ownit Mortgage Solutions and Foreclosure

A few weeks ago I posted a question on the board about Ownit mortgage has filed for bankruptcy and I wanted to know if they can foreclose. Well I found out from some of you that the servicer (Litton Loan Servicing)can foreclose.I also received a message from someone on the board about finding out who has my note. Well, the county says on record that Ownit still has it. So I called Litton and also sent a few emails to them asking who owns my note. It took the some time to answer that. At first they said that they owned it. Then they sent me a copy of the mortgage note with Ownit Mortgage listed. Then the emailed me and said that LaSalle Bank is the trustee for Ownit. So I researched that and come to find out they were bought out by Bank of America in 2007. So I finally called the Bankruptcy court in Ca. and they refered me to a liquidation company and they are going to find out who owns my note due to the fact that they were the ones that sold all of Ownit's notes. So what this all comes down to at this point is that no one knows who owns my note. So again, how can Litton Loan Servicing foreclose??? Who are they representing???? What would be my next step?? And what should I do if it does get to the foreclosure court??????
