joint warranty deeds

I have a question..I own property with my brother via a joint warranty deed. He is now in trouble financially and in the process of losing his business, along with his home which he used as collateral to purchase his business. My question is this...is the property (which is just land) that we own jointly in jeopardy? He did not use this as collateral in any way. I would appreciate any responses.
