WEST VIRGINA and DIFICIENCY

I am foreclosing in WV and I have done a lot of reseach, and found that WV is a No Deficiency state meaning that the lender can not come after me for any amounts owed after the sale should it not sell for what I owe, is this true, or should i prepare for a judment against me? i spoke to a lawyer( bankruptcy) and he said the could sue me, but everything i have researched says they can, so I am wondering if the info online is false or if th lawyer just wants my 2750.00
