I've just started my search for a rental and was told by one complex that they are looking to see if there is a history of any evictions and that they do not consider a foreclosure an eviction. They were willing to rent to those who are facing foreclosure. Bottom line, from what I'm gathering, is that they are looking for a steady income and that the income is sufficient to carry the rent. I've been told to be honest up front which is fine by me because that's the way I like to operate any way.
