insurance letter

We recieved a letter stating the home would be auctioned off 12-15-08. Then yesterday we recieved a letter from the bank stating as of 11-21-08 we were no longer insured the bank owns it now we do not. We are in Arizona as far as we are concerned we no longer own the home & do not plan on updating anything.
Who is responsible??
